With an opportunity to witness mountain ranges of Annapurna and Dhaulagiri and the culture growing over it, you will also be able to view the picturesque settlements of Pisang, Chame, Yak Kharka. You will be able to see the unique culture followed by the locals and how Buddhist and Hindu philosophy intercepts as you trek to Muktinath Temple. No wonder this journey will take you through the rural farm villages, terraced farm fields and traditional villages from the subtropics, and along the arctic landscape.

Annapurna Circuit will offer you an opportunity to witness the highest situated lake for its size that is situated at an altitude of 4920 meters and will astound you.  Travelling through the Thorong La pass, that is situated at an altitude of 5416 meters, you will be able to gaze around towering mountains like Khangsar, Muktinath peak, Nilgiri, and Tilicho.

After arriving at the Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, our representatives will meet you outside the airport terminal and  transfer you to your hotel and help you check in. Our guide will give you all the relevant information about the hotel you will be staying and will also brief you about the Annapurna Circuit with Tilicho Lake trek.

Having an early morning breakfast, we will go on a scenic journey toward Prithivi Highway. It will be an interesting drive that takes you along the foothills of the hills surrounding the Kathmandu valley and just before we reach Pokhara, the route will divert toward Besisahar in the Lamjung region. We will spend our night here.

Our trek starts from Besisahar. We will be fascinated by the scenic beauty of gorge, high hill, waterfalls, and snow-capped peaks and the trail will steep for half an hour before we reach lush farm terraces. We will be trekking higher further to the top of a ridge, crossing the waterfalls and reach syange village. From syange, you will cross a bridge before another steep climb to Tal. 

We can observe the change in vegetation and sense air getting colder as we hike up. Through the forests of Bagarchhap, we enter the first village with Tibetan architecture slowly gain altitude while reaching ‘Dhanaqi-Country of Apple’. The trails will lead us through the farmland, orchids and pine forest with stunning views of Lamjung Valley and Annapurna II. Following the upstream of Marsyangdi river we pass by the villages of Ratamanang and Koto. and reach the town of Chame situated at an altitude of 2720 meters.

Today, we will hike to Pisang (3200 meters) walking through the other side of the northern bank of the river and pass through pine woods and small villages. We will climb gentle uphills and downhills that lead us to a bridge. Climbing through a short steep climb, we land in the pine forest and at the top of the ridge is Pisang. The stunning view of Pisang peak and the Chulu peak will gradually lead us to the village of Pisang.

We will trail up looking over the high snow-capped peaks and climb steep hills with dramatic views of the valleys toward Hongdre village. Gangapurna, Annapurna II, III, Tilicho, Chuli, and Pisang peak are among the major attractions that you glimpse at. We will trek down to Manang at higher elevation before we reach the villages of Braga and Manang. Outstanding display of statues, thangkas, religious manuscripts and Braga Monastery are among the major highlights that you can witness around the route before we reach Manang.

Today is the rest day and we will enjoy the picturesque beauty of nature in the forms of Mountains and meet the locals. It is a part of acclimatization and we will explore Manang. With near about 500 flat-roofed houses, this village comprise of spectacular view of the Annapurna II, Annapurna III [7,555 meters], Gangapurna [7,454 meters] to the South – Tilicho [7,132 meters] and the Grand Barrier to the West – Chulu West [6,583 meters] and Chulu East [6,059 meters] to the North.

Today, we will begin our hike again and trek to Tilicho Lake Base Camp. Wide grassy fields along the slight ascent hill, will allow us to witness the splendid views of the gorgeous Manang valley. Gliding down the steep inclination we will reach Tilicho Base Camp.

After having a morning breakfast, we will start on the high roads. The trail traverses through moraine and narrow paths along the side of the mountain will lead us to the Tilicho Lake. Tilicho, Nilgiri, Khangsar and Muktinath peaks look gorgeous and will glimpse at you. The turquoise blue waters of Tilicho Lake and its splendid setting will awe-struck you. 

We will be heading out to Yak Kharka that will meet the trail of Marsyangdi valley and changes in surroundings can be witnesses as alpine vegetation starts greeting you. Cross over a log bridge of Kangsar village we will reach Yak Kharka.

The higher altitude will wake us up early and we will try to complete the majority of trekking in the first portion of the day. The weather can change and we will try to reach Churi Ledar and to Thorong Phedi. This is the base camp to Thorong La Pass.

We will be starting our day early again and try to reach the top of the pass on time before the cold wind starts to blow. The steep zig-zag path will lead us to the first ridge and route starts narrowing down before we reach a small glacial pond. We will stop by a tea house and start continuing our journey toward the top of the pass at an altitude of 5,416 meters known as Thorong-La. Northern Annapurna, Damodar, Bhrikuti and Dhaulagiri range of mountains are clearly seen from Thorong La and we will climb down to the sacred village of Muktinath During Hindu & Buddhist festivals, this place is full and busy with pilgrims from all over Nepal and India.

Being a sacred destination for the Pilgrims all round the world, the temple of Muktinath is home to waterspouts. We will spend some time at Muktinath temple and observe the cultural blend of Buddhist and Hindu Pilgrims and head toward Jomsom. The stunning views of Mt. Dhaulagiri will entice us and as we trail ahead, we will reach Kagbeni. The memorial stupas and monastery is one of the major attractions that you can witness. Driving through the trail to Jomsom and on the alley of the Kali Gandaki Valley, we will heed toward Tato Pani.

You will drive to Pokhara from Tato pani. The climate will be warmer and serene waters of Phewa Lake, Begnas Lake, and Rupa Lake are among the major attractions belonging to the Lake City of Pokhara. It is also the home to some adventurous caves like Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave, Bat Cave, and Mahendra Cave. So there are plenty of exciting things you can do in Pokhara during this leisure time.

On this day, we will drive back to Kathmandu from Pokhara. Travelling in the Tourist bus, along the beautiful, scenic hills along with sights of Trisuli and Marsyangdi River on a drive thru, we will reach kathmandu after a ride of 7-8 hours. We will drop you off at your hotel and in the evening we will have dinner together for one last time before we depart.
