We will make our overnight stay at the guesthouse at Phakding on this day.

From Phakding, we will be hiking to Monjo. Monjo opens the entrance to the Sagarmatha National Park. With the rich terrain encompassing thick pine woodlands and rhododendron trees, we will follow the trail and pass through a small settlement of Tok-Tok and Jorsale. Crossing-over the suspension bridge of Dudh Koshi River, we will hike uphill for 7-8 hours toward the Sherpa capital of Namchee Bazaar. Namchee is a famous Himalayan town situated at the altitude of 11,283 feet from the sea level. Namche is also a commercial hub of the Khumbu region. We will stay overnight at the guesthouse.

Today, we will separate a day to acclimatize with the altitude and weather. This spot can podcast amazing views of the Everest peak and other neighbouring Himalayan Range.
